Septustin M
General product information
Septustin M preparation is a transparent liquid, colorless to light yellow, with a weak specific smell, containing alkyldimethylbenzylammonium chloride (QAC); N,N-bis-(3-aminopropyl) dodecylamine (amine) and accessory components isopropyl alcohol, nonionogenic surface active substance, stabilizers and water.The substance is intended for the use at treatment and disease prevention institutions:
- for manual disinfection, including that combined with pre-sterilization cleaning of medical purpose items, including surgical and dental instruments, rigid and flexible endoscopes and accessories in case of bacterial (including TB), viral and fungous (candidosis and dermatophytosis) etiology;
- for mechanical disinfection combined with pre-sterilization cleaning of surgical and dental instruments in case of the above named infections in ultrasound units;
- for manual disinfection not combined with pre-sterilization cleaning of medical purpose items, including surgical and dental instruments, rigid and flexible endoscopes and accessories;
- for disinfection of surfaces indoors, hard furniture, sanitary engineering equipment, surfaces of units and devices, linen, utensils (including those used in laboratories), dishwashing items, patient care articles, cleaning equipment, spent medical materials and items (cottonwool tampons, bandaging material. disposable medical products), toys, footwear made of rubber, plastic and other polymer materials, rubber mats in case of infections mentioned above for preventive, current and final disinfection in treatment and disease prevention institutions, including obstetric stay-in hospitals (in neonatology units surfaces indoors), including clinical, microbiological and other laboratories, in infection niduses, on sanitary transport and for mold control on surfaces;
-for blood decontamination;
- for general cleanings.
