Introduce the company:
OMCH was founded by Olympus Optical Co. (Hamburg) and Olympus Hungary Ltd. in July 2000, in order to run endoscopy laboratories in Hungary.
In 2007 Olympus Endoterapia Poland became the 100% owner of the company. In 2009 Olympus Hamburg outsourced the operation (Management Bay Out), hence any kind of ownership between Olympus, Endoterapia Poland and OMCH Ltd. has finished. Since then, the Olympus Endoterapia is operating as Endoterapia Poland and the Olympus Medical Care Hungary is operating as OMCH Egészségügyi Szolgóltato Ltd. From the end of July 2011, Hungarian private persons are the owners.
Centres
In the last few years we have opened laboratories in Budapest (Semmelweis University Medical Clinic) and in other cities in Hungary ... (Szekesfehervar, Kecskemet), where we are examining inpatients and outpatients in cooperation with the hospitals. We are also planning to open further laboratory centres, for which we see a large demand from hospitals. OMCH is the first and private medical company that manages endoscopy centres in Hungary. Now we operate 4 endoscope centres, 1 big centre in the Kecskemét hospital, where we have about 7000 examinations per year,
3 smaller centres in Székesfehérvár, Pápa and Szent Ferenc Hospital in Budapest,where we treat mainly private * achievements
In our laboratory centres we take more than 8 000 examinations per year, using the most up-to-date video-endoscope technology, to the satisfaction of our * covers for around 4-5 % of the total examinations performed in Hungary. Our centres are managed by highly qualified gastroenterology specialists. The doctors who are carrying out the examinations and providing therapies have many years experience in the area of endoscopic medical services. New technologies help our colleagues to improve in their scientific career.
Our products
In addition to the managing of endoscope centres, our company has joined the trading companies who sell endoscope instruments, accessories.
In partnership with Wilson Instruments Co. Ltd, OMCH Ltd. retails the products of Wilson Co. since September 2009.
Wilson Co. has many years experience in the production of endoscope accessories. Its products with brand name 'Heyinovo' gained a great success on the American and European market.
In 2010 we made partnership agreement with Blow Neem Co Ltd. also for endoscope accessories and with CBC Deutschland Co. for distribute of Cleantop endoscope washing machine.
These products offered by the company have agreeable prices which allow endoscope centres to operate more economically.
In 2010 we agreed with Spatz Medical Co. an American-Israeli company to represent them in Hungary. They are producing adjustable stomach balloons for patients who would like to loose weight.
We are in negotiation with the Chinese Yinshan company to sell capsule endoscope in Hungary.
Another activity is borrowing endoscope assets to hospitals, we have contract with Debrecen University and Hatvan Hospital. Read more
