SALVO-GEL is our own highly effective, competitively priced and clinically proven instant hand sanitizing gel. Formulated with ethanol, triethanolamine and glycerine for maximum skin protection.SALVO-GEL has been developed to meet the requirements of the food industry for a completely effective, yet quick-acting and non-tainting, food-safe hand disinfectant. Combining a high level of alcohol gives proven bactericidal effectiveness, leaving hands dry, non-sticky and with no after-odour. These advanced properties make SALVO-GEL equally suitable for many medical and care service applications - in fact, any application where there is a risk of cross-infection from hand contact.
Independent laboratory tests prove 99.9999% kill of gram positive and gram negative bacteria: Staphylococcus Aureus ATCC 6538, Escherichia coli ATCC 10536 after a contact time of 5 minutes.
The residual bactericide in SALVO-GEL gives protection for up to three hours.
Hands should be washed and dried before using SALVO-GEL. Apply a small quantity to the hands and rub well in, paying particular attention to fingernails and creases in the skin. Within a few seconds, SALVO-GEL will have evaporated, leaving the skin soft and dry. It may also be used in the same way to sterilise surgical gloves.
Complies with EU Approval EN1276 for use against Pseudomonas Aeruginosa, Escherichia Coli, Staphylococcus Aureus, Enterococcus Hirae in food applications, and EN13727 for effective use against MRSA, Salmonella Typhinurium, Listeria Monocytogenes in medical areas.
