Diversa is founded by Saikat Ray - a chemical engineer by education, with 10 years of experience in speciality water treatment chemicals followed by another decade in animal health, nutrition and hygiene related products.My area of specialization is South Asia. Now I consult for companies seeking to enter this market which is on a stable growth path. I generally pick and choose products which have a defined need in the marketplace and put them in the market thru a network of competent and capable distributors.
I have just started to develop Diversa in to a full fledged company and enroll a few application specialists with relevant domain knowledge to provide better service to the users. Prior to this all business was being done by me as an independent consultant. Diversa works as a local ... office of the principal company and handles all the aspects of the business development - marketing, promoting, setting up marketing channels, following up, providing training to sales force and also technical support as & when needed.
Diversa charges to the suppliers and never to the buyers - usually a small monthly fee is charged alongwith a percentage of the business revenue.
At this moment Diversa is looking for a good quality water sanitizer and disinfectant for poultry and aquaculture applications, for India and Bangladesh.
