Virusolve
Virusolve is bactericidal, virucidal, fungicidal and sporicidal. Virusolve does not just inactivate microbials; it destroys them completely, eliminating the risk of cross infection.
Whats more, unlike other disinfectants Virusolve requires no prior surface cleaning, saving time and money.
Despite being lethal to microbials, Virusolve is easy to handle, bio-degradable, non-corrosive, non-hazardous to human health and non-tainting when in direct contact with food (ISO 4120:2004).
Manufactured in the UK, Virusolve has undergone rigorous testing by Europes leading laboratories including: HIRL (Hospital Infection Research Laboratory, Birmingham), Texcell Laboratory (Part of Institute Pasteur, Paris) and the UK HPA (Health Protection Agency).
Virusolve is CE Marked (CE 0120). Hence all of the claims have been audited and verified by independent auditors for the UK regulator MHRA (Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency) on behalf of the European Union.
Virusolve has been tested and passed in accordance with BS 6471, BS 7424, BS 6905, EN 1275, EN 1276, EN 13727, EN 13697, EN 14347, EN 14348 and AFNOR procedures.
Example 1: MRSA (EN 1276) started with 3,240,000,000 bacteria and were reduced in one minute contact time to 10 in both clean and dirty conditions.
Example 2: Clostridium difficile spores (EN 1276 and EN 14347), started with 15,300,000 spores and were reduced in one minute contact time to 10 in both clean and dirty conditions.
Example 3: HCV (hepatitis C) After one minute contact time HCV RNA was not detectable in the serum samples.
Virusolve is also approved by DEFRA (Department for Environment Food and Rural Affairs) for General Orders as defined in Diseases of Animals (approved Disinfectant) Order 1978 and The Diseases of Poultry Order and The Avian Influenza and Influenza of Avian Origin in Mammals Order.
